Oklahoma Health Officials Discuss Omicron Variant

State health officials in Oklahoma are encouraging residents to get vaccinated as the Omicron variant of COVID-19 continues to spread. Interim Commissioner of Health Keith Reed says the Omicron variant has been identified in at least 17 states, but no cases have been reported in Oklahoma. State officials say getting vaccinated is the best protection against severe illness and hospitalization due to COVID-19.
