The City of Oklahoma City recently hired the first-ever Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Shalynne Jackson will lead OKC's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, providing guidance and training for city leaders. Jackson is an Oklahoma native and OU graduate who said she is looking forward to driving meaningful change. City Manager Craig Freeman said Jackson is perfectly qualified for the role.
