Employees at the Oklahoma County Jail will get hazard pay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Oklahoma County Jail Trust has voted to provide jail employees with a $1,000 bonus as an incentive to stay healthy. The Jail Trust received more than 40 million dollars in federal COVID relief funds, and the employee bonus payment will cost about three million dollars.
