The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is increasing tolls. Starting January 1st, toll rates will rise by 15% systemwide.

OTA Director of Finance Wendy Smith says the additional funds will go towards their long-range, $8 billion ACCESS Oklahoma plan. The tolls will be moving from an axle-based rate to tolls based on whether the vehicle is small, medium or large. The plan also includes a 6% inflation-based rate increase structure that will kick in every other year, starting on January first 2027.
