Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is filing a motion to reevaluate the competency of Ricky Ray Malone. Malone was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to death for the 2004 shooting of Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Nik Green in Cotton County. Malone was determined to be not mentally competent for execution in 2017.
