President Joe Biden went viral during the White House's National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday (December 5) night as many social media users pointed out his long, wispy hair.
Biden, 82 removed his stocking cap and the hat's wool caused static electricity, which made the president's white hair stand, making him look older than usual public appearances.
“You’re still here?” Biden joked to journalists on the South Lawn while addressing the crowd.
Several X users drew comparisons to Ebenezer Scrooge, the villainous character in A Christmas Carol, as well as his former business partner Jacob Marley, in response to photos shared.
"Biden lookin like Ebenezer Scrooge tonight," one user wrote.
"Dude literally looks like Marley's Ghost at this point," another wrote.
“Biden about to be visited by the ghosts of corruption past present and future,” OANN host Chris Boyle wrote.
“It’s uncanny how this is Ebenezer Scrooge’s exact reaction to seeing all 3 Christmas ghosts in order,” another user wrote.
Several other users compared Biden's thin, wispy hair to Jack Nicholson's portrayal of The Joker in the 1989 Batman film, Bill Murray's character Ernie McCracken in the 1996 film Kingpin, late Hall of Fame baseball announcer Harry Caray, late legendary artist Andy Warhol and "a combo of a mad scientist and the crypt keeper."
