The Cowboys are gearing up for the new season at training camp in Oxnard. Dallas is stressing the fact that long-term contract extensions with star players CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott will take time. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones called it a "very unique situation." Lamb has not reported to camp as he continues to await a resolution on his contract.
The Cowboys placed cornerback Trevon Diggs on the active/physically unable to perform list as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL he suffered during a practice last September. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, defensive tackles Mazi Smith and Osa Odighizuwa, tight ends Luke Schoonmaker and John Stephens Jr., and wide receiver David Durden have all been cleared to practice.
