Ruling In Oklahoma Family Planning Funding Case

The Tenth US Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver has turned away the state of Oklahoma's request to restore federal family planning money that was pulled because the state refuses to provide abortion referral information. The Title X funds are also used for cancer screening and breast exams for low-income women. State Attorney General Gentner Drummond plans to appeal. He says the state is being punished for being pro-life.
