Rangers To Host Diamondbacks In Game One Of World Series

The Rangers and Diamondbacks are set to go head-to-head for a World Series title. Texas will host Arizona for Game One of the Fall Classic at Globe Life Field on Friday night. The Rangers will send right-hander Nathan Eovaldi to the mound for the series opener. Eovaldi has gone 4-and-0 this postseason with a 2.42 ERA. The Diamondbacks will counter with All-Star right-hander Zac Gallen. Arizona claimed the NL pennant for the first time since winning the World Series in 2001 with a seven-game takedown of the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS. Texas is making its' first trip to the World Series since 2011 after knocking off the defending champion Houston Astros in the ALCS. The Rangers have never won a World Series title.
