Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is putting enforcement of a ban on transgender treatment for minors on hold, pending the outcome of a motion for a preliminary injunction against the new law. Governor Stitt signed Senate Bill 613 earlier this month. It prohibits gender transition medication or surgery for minors. ACLU Oklahoma says that unjustly and unfairly targets transgender youth and violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
