An Oklahoma man says a simple request of his neighbor landed him in the hospital.

Chad Williamson is recovering from severe facial injuries after a neighbor allegedly assaulted him in July, KFOR reported.

Williamson was at home one night when he could hear a group of neighbors on ATVs zooming around their southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood while drinking.

He went out and asked the neighbors to keep the noise down since it was so late.

“Immediately, the main guy driving the trike was like, ‘if you don’t like it, call the f-ing cops,'” Williamson told the station.

The next thing Williamson remembers was that he was on the ground. He said his neighbor who is a retired firefighter was the one who knocked him out.

“I’m told while I was unconscious, he was on top of me. And I know he struck me at least once more here, because I had a lot of swelling on this side as well,” Williamson said.

Williamson's wife called the cops. A man can be heard in the background of the recorded 911 call repeatedly yelling "get the f--- out of here."

Williamson now calls his neighbor a "violent monster" because his facial injuries were so bad from the beating.

“The ER docs and even the cop was asking if he had a weapon because they had never seen a fist make a wound like that," he said.

The neighbor hasn't been identified since he has not been charged with a crime. Williamson expects that to change, but the neighbor says “There’s more to the story of what took place."
