Heroin Warning

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control is sending out a warning after identifying a spike in heroin-related overdose deaths over the past week. Spokesman Mark Woodward says seven Oklahomans have died since May 27th, including five in the Oklahoma City metro area and two in the Tulsa metro area.

He says agents are working to determine if the deaths are connected. They believe the heroin might have been laced with fentanyl. One arrest has been made.
