The OSBI is investigating an apparent home invasion in Cordell. Spokeswoman Jessica Brown tells KTOK News the Washita County Sheriff's office responded to a 911 call overnight from a residence in the 400 block of S. Market Street in Cordell. Deputies found a woman and her 14-year-old son who had been shot. 36-year-old Tammi Thomas was taken to a hospital where she died. Her son is in critical condition. Brown says agents spent the night gathering information and evidence from the scene. She says they are looking for a certain individual, but there is no positive identification. She says they are investigating the crime as a home invasion. (photo provided)
