A judge is ordering the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office to resume transporting jail inmates to court starting today. The order comes after nearly 80 inmates missed scheduled hearings yesterday when the sheriff's office stopped providing the transport service. Last month, Sheriff Tommie Johnson told the jail trust he would exercise his legal right to end his agreement to transport detainees between the jail and court. Oklahoma County District Attorney Vicki Behenna argued that Johnson does not have the legal right to back out of the agreement.
