State Superintendent Calls For Investigation Of After-School Meal Program

Oklahoma State Superintendent Lindel Fields is seeking an investigation of an after-school meal program. Fields sent a letter to state officials including the governor, stating that he has concerns about operations led by Feed the Kids. Fields says there is evidence that Feed the Kids has inflated operating costs and meal numbers to secure larger reimbursements from federal funds.
