Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is warning residents about a text scam impersonating the Department of Public Safety or the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Officials say the messages falsely claim drivers have unresolved traffic tickets and threaten to suspend their licenses if payment is not made. Drummond says people who get the texts should not respond and should delete them or report them as fraud.
