Expand Energy Moving Headquarters From OKC To Houston

Another major energy company has announced plans to move their corporate headquarters out of Oklahoma City to Houston. Expand Energy says the move will primarily involve their leadership team, and they say Oklahoma City will remain an important center of for their business and operations. The company says they're committed to supporting their OKC employees and the local community. Expand was formed in 2024 when Chesapeake Energy merged with Southwestern Energy to make up North America's largest natural gas producer. The company has also announced their CEO, Nick Dell'Osso will be stepping down from that position. Just last week, Devon Energy announced they would be merging with another company and moving their headquarters to Houston.
