The search is over for Okfuskee County jail escapee Joshua Butler. He was shot and killed Wednesday by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper during a manhunt near Wetumka, where he was from. His vehicle was spotted in the area and he reportedly fled from the scene carrying a rifle and was later shot. At the same time, Sheriff Logan Manshack has released details of his escape. He says Butler removed a wall-mounted sink in his cell, broke through a concrete wall, and left through an exterior door that had a damaged lock. Also, even though the escape was reported Christmas Day, Manshack says Butler actually escaped five days earlier. He says a full investigation is underway.
