Oklahoma City Thunder Announce 2024-2025 Season Schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder is scheduled to tip off the upcoming season with a pair of road contests against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 24 and the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 26, before hosting the Atlanta Hawks for the team’s home opener at Paycom Center on Sunday, Oct. 27, the Thunder announced today.

During the 2024-25 season, the Thunder will host 16 home weekend games consisting of six Friday, two Saturday and eight Sunday contests. Additionally, the Thunder will host four homestands comprised of at least four games, including a pair of five-game homestands in mid-November and another that begins in late December and concludes on Sunday, Jan. 5 when the Boston Celtics travel to Oklahoma City for a 2:30 p.m. tip off. 

The Thunder is scheduled to make 25 nationally-televised appearances during the 2024-25 season including nine games on ESPN, five games on TNT, one game on ABC and 10 games on NBA TV.

In an Oklahoma City tradition, the Thunder will host a New Year’s Eve game at 7 p.m. against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Paycom Center.

The Thunder’s month-by-month breakdown includes four games in October (two home, two road), 15 games in November (eight home, seven road), 11 games in December (four home, seven road), 14 games in January (seven home, seven road), 13 games in February (seven home, six road), 16 games in March (nine home, seven road) and seven games in April (three home, four road).

Oklahoma City will participate in 16 back-to-back sets during the 2024-25 season, consisting of four home/home, three road/road, four home/road and five road/home back-to-backs.

The regular-season schedule includes defined dates and opponents for 80 of the Thunder’s 82 games, along with two games designated as TBD dates and opponents. Those two games will be played the week of Dec. 9, and will be determined based on the results of Group Play games in the Emirates NBA Cup.

Local TV broadcast information will be released at a later date. All Thunder games will air live on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS (98.1 FM) The Sports Animal in Oklahoma City. All home games are also broadcast in Spanish on WKY (930 AM).

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for October, November, and December home games beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 at okcthunder.com or ticketmaster.com.
