Pay Raise Bill

By Beth Myers
Mar 12, 2019

It's far from a done deal, but the State House on Tuesday passed a bill to give state employees a $2,500 annual pay raise. House Budget Committee chairman Kevin Wallace says the numbers haven't been worked out yet. "This bill will be part of the budget negotiations between the House and Senate to come up with an agreement on how much we can afford," he said.
