Flu Death Numbers Rising

Almost 20 people in Oklahoma have died from the flu for the 2018-2019 influenza season. 

The Oklahoma State Department of Health on Thursday reported that 18 people have died since September, 2018. Since then, there have been more than 350 hospitalizations, statewide. 

Most of the deaths occurred in patients who were older than age sixty-five.
