A man wanted for double homicide in New Mexico is in custody in Oklahoma.
On Sunday, the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office got a tip that a man named Richard Ross was possibly in Keota. Authorities said the 39-year-old Ross is a suspect in the December seventh deaths of two people in Albuquerque.
Ross was arrested early Monday morning. Authorities said one of the victim's vehicle was found in Keota, along with other items of evidence.
Ross is being held in Haskell County Jail, awaiting extradition to New Mexico.
