A groundbreaking ceremony was held Monday for a new office building for the Oklahoma Insurance Department. It will be located at 400 NE 50th Street in Oklahoma City. The estimated cost of the new building is $10.5 million dollars. The OID is a non-appropriated state agency so the construction cost will have no impact on the state's general revenue fund.
