Budget-Cutting Bill Goes To Governor

By a vote of 29 to 12, the state Senate on Wednesday passed the bill that forces nearly every state agency to cut about 2 percent from their budgets over the next four months. The cuts total about $45 million. Senate President Pro Tem Mike Schulz of Altus says it's time to 'put a fork in the 2018 budget and be done with it and press on.' The bill has already passed the state House and now goes to Governor Mary Fallin for her signature.
