Norman police are investigating the theft of rims and tires at Landers Chevrolet at 1221 Ed Noble Parkway. Employees showed up for work Monday and found 40 vehicles sitting on wooden blocks with their rims and tires removed. Police believe the thefts happened sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning. They say the suspects cut the lock on the gate and then disabled the lights in the dealership parking lot to conceal their movements. They targeted Chevrolet trucks, suburbans and Cameros. No suspect descriptions are available at this time.
