The Canadian County Sheriff's office has arrested a suspect in the December 18th kidnapping and rape of a woman in Canadian County. Last week the sheriff's office released a forensic sketch of the suspect based on the victim's description, and Sheriff Chris West says within a few hours tips were coming in and a suspect was in custody in Wichita, Kansas. "If we hadn't received the news coverage and social media exposure that we did, we may not have caught up to him; as the suspect had a plane ticket out of the country to Vietnam when Wichita police picked him up," said West. The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Hoang Vinh Huy Tran of Wichita, Kansas. He is also a citizen of the Republic of Vietnam.
