Duncan police confirm a little girl died Sunday after being attacked by a dog. Police Sgt. Layle Baker tells KTOK News it happened in the 600 block of F Street in Duncan. Police were initially called to the residence about a dog bite. Baker says when officers arrived they learned it was actually a dog attack and the girl was killed. He says the dog ran from the area after the attack and officers went looking for it. He says when the dog was located, it charged at an officer and was shot and killed. Baker says police are still investigating the incident. The exact age of the victim has not been released. Baker says the dog was a family pet.
