An inmate is dead after an altercation at the Oklahoma County Jail. The fight broke out Tuesday in a holding area on the 8th floor of the jail. Jail officials say as a result of the altercation 36-year-old Maurice Pendleton was taken to a hospital where he died a few hours after the altercation. He was booked into jail on July 11 on assault charges. An investigation is underway.
