Tulsa attorney Gary Richardson who is running for Governor filed a lawsuit Wednesday in the Oklahoma Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality of three revenue-raising bills passed by the Legislature last session. It's what he said he would do at a press event last week in Tulsa. He alleges the Legislature violated the Oklahoma Constitution in passing the bills during the last five days of the session and not getting the required number of votes. The Court has scheduled oral arguments on August 8th.
