Murder Victim's Name Released, No Arrests Yet Made

It's been a week since a Healdton man was found dead inside a pick-up truck in Garvin County.

Sheriff Larry Rhodes said the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and his investigators are all tracking leads into the death of 41-year-old Robert Deal the third:

"They spent all day at this scene on Saturday, and they gathered a lot of evidence. But, if you can understand scientific examination of that kind of evidence takes awhile. So, you know, I'm not going to say we're starting with nothing," Rhodes told KTOK.

He says there were signs of trauma to Deal's body. Rhodes says so far, no arrests have been made.
