Edmond police have arrested the stepson of a woman found shot to death Tuesday night in the garage of a house at 530 Park Place in Edmond. The woman has been identified as 54-year-old Katherine Bryant. Police say her stepson, 17-year-old Joshua Bryant, was arrested Wednesday on I-35 in Blackwell. He was driving his stepmother's vehicle he took from their home. Police say he confessed to hitting his stepmother in the head with a baseball bat, knocking her unconscious. He dragged her to the garage and shot her in the head with a rifle. He left the house before his father came home to find the body.
