A woman is dead after a crash near Adair on Wednesday. It happened on U.S. 28 and County Road 427, where officials say a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Leah Hendrex crashed into a pickup truck. Hendrex was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is being investigated.
