Attempted Bribery Charge Dropped Against Stitt Cabinet Member

A bribery charge against a member of Governor Kevin Stitt's cabinet is being dropped. Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter filed a motion on Friday to dismiss David Ostrowe's charge of attempted bribery of an officer. Ostrowe, who is the Secretary of Digital Transformation and Administration, was accused of threatening consequences if two state tax commissioners did not waive the fees of a company owned by former state Senator Jason Smalley. Smalley has denied ever meeting Ostrowe.
