COVID-19 State Of Emergency Withdrawn In Oklahoma

Oklahoma's COVID-19 state of emergency is ending. Governor Kevin Stitt announced yesterday that he has signed an executive order that withdraws and rescinds the state of emergency effective today. In making the announcement, the governor said Oklahoma's seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is down by 94% from its peak, and COVID-19 hospitalizations are down by 90%. The governor noted that his decision is possible because of the collective actions by Oklahoma residents during the pandemic over the past year.
