Officials are investigating after human bones were discovered in Shawnee. Police say the remains were found yesterday in a wooded area near Brangus Road and Independence Street. Shawnee police, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the state medical examiner are trying to determine the identity of the remains and the cause of death.
