Stitt Announces Rolling Back Of COVID-19 Restrictions

Governor Kevin Stitt is ending COVID-19 restrictions in Oklahoma. The governor announced yesterday that the decline in hospitalizations and increase in vaccine supply means this is the right time to roll back capacity limits and the mask mandate for state employees. Stitt said the worst of the virus is over, and that it's time to "take back summer." The Oklahoma State Medical Association released a statement in opposition to move, saying it is too soon to roll back restrictions.
