Oklahoma medical officials are noting a drop in the number of new COVID-19 cases. As of yesterday, the state's testing positivity rate was the lowest it has been since mid-June. In addition, health officials are crediting the decline in COVID-19-related hospitalizations and deaths to the vaccine and the start of herd immunity.
