The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission reported a decline in initial unemployment claims for last week. Officials say filings were down 36% and have decreased by 88% since June. Interim OESC Executive Director Shelley Zumwalt credited the agency's in-person claim events last month as part of the reason for the improvement.
