Governor Stitt Announces Plans To Get PPE For Oklahoma Schools

Governor Kevin Stitt says the state will commit ten-million dollars in funding from the CARES Act to supply Oklahoma schools with personal protective equipment. Stitt said the state of Oklahoma will provide more than a million reusable masks, pairs of gloves, and disposable gowns, along with 42-thousand face shields to help in the fight against COVID-19. The governor also announced that planning is underway to test Oklahoma teachers every month for the virus.
