An Enid man is in custody after authorities say he stole from his blind, elderly mother. Emmery Brown is accused of taking more than thirteen-hundred dollars from his 78 year old mother, who depends on Brown to pay her bills. Enid police say Brown would sometimes take money from his mother's bank account while she was sitting right next to him. He is charged with exploitation of a disabled adult.
