A multi-million-dollar settlement is reached in the death of an Oklahoma jail inmate. The Garfield County Commission has agreed to a 12-point-five-million-dollar settlement in a federal lawsuit filed on behalf of Anthony Huff. The 58-year-old Huff died in 2016 after he was allegedly bound to a chair for more than two days after being booked for public intoxication. Six jail employees, including the sheriff, were charged with manslaughter in the case, but the charges against the sheriff and four other staff members were later dropped.
