Governor Mary Fallin on Thursday signed seven criminal justice reform bills into law that she says will reduce the flow of nonviolent offenders into prison, establish a more efficient and streamlined parole process, and facilitate successful reentry that reduces recidivism. "Studies have shown that with our current laws Oklahoma's prison population will grow 25 percent by 2026 and cost the state an additional $1.9 billion," said Fallin.
