A nurse who works at the Oklahoma County jail has been arrested for allegedly bringing drugs into the jail. Mark Opgrande with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office tells KTOK News a detention officer saw 41-year-old Amy Terhune hand a brown paper bag to an inmate. The bag was seized. Opgrande says it contained baggies of what appeared to be marijuana. He says Terhune was interviewed and confessed to bringing marijuana into the jail. She was arrested and booked into jail on one count of possession of contraband in a penal institution. She is employed by Armor Correctional Health Services, which is the medical health care provider for the Oklahoma County jail.
