The group Oklahoma Taxpayers Unite! filed a veto referendum petition Tuesday with the Oklahoma Secretary of State's office that calls for a statewide vote on whether to overturn the package of tax increases enacted by the Legislature to fund teacher pay raises. The group has less than 90 days to collect about 41,000 signatures.
