Grade Tampering Allegations

State School Superintendent Joy Hofmeister has requested an OSBI investigation into allegations of grade tampering by Chickasha Public Schools. She says a probe by the Oklahoma State Department of Education found that during a four-month period, between October 2017 and January 2018, about 5,500 student course grades and 18,800 individual assignment grades were overridden within the district's online learning system. Additionally, Hofmeister says there were significant discrepancies in the number of times individual teachers logged into the system.
