New House Member Sworn Into Office

Marlow Mayor Brad Boles was sworn into office Friday as the newest member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He won the recent House District 51 special election to replace former Rep. Scott Biggs who resigned to take a job with the federal government. "It's an honor to have been selected by the voters in House District 51 to represent them," Boles said. "I look forward to working with other legislators to help pass meaningful reforms that support our public schools, public safety, health care, transportation and other services for the citizens of my district and the state overall while balancing the principles of responsible spending and personal freedom."
