Infant's Body Found In Trash Dumpster In Enid

Enid police were called to a residence in the 1600 block of S. 2nd street early Sunday to investigate a strong odor coming from a trash dumpster. Police Captain Jack Morris tells KTOK News officers found the body of a newborn male infant inside the container. The State Medical Examiner's office took custody of the body and will try to determine a cause of death. Captain Morris says police are trying to locate the mother and any other persons who might have helped dispose of the body.
