The state House Criminal Justice and Corrections committee on Wednesday passed the "Hidden Predator Act" authored by Representative Carol Bush of Tulsa. It extends the statute of limitations for child sex abuse victims to report their abuse up to 45 years of age. A suspect could not be prosecuted if the evidence was solely recovered through the victim undergoing psychotherapy. A person making a false abuse claim could be charged with a felony.
