The Oklahoma City School Board will consider a resolution Monday to begin the process of filing a lawsuit against the Oklahoma Legislature for allegedly failing to adequately fund education. At a press conference Thursday, School Board member Mark Mann accused legislative leaders of failing at their constitutional responsibility to put Oklahoma's children and their education first. He said the school board is prepared to exhaust all efforts, including litigation, in the fight to provide a quality education for the children of Oklahoma City schools and Oklahoma.
