Here's another proposal to pay teachers in Oklahoma.
Our good friends at Oklahoma's News 4 point out this special interest group wants to raise the Gross Production Tax in order to pay teachers more in Oklahoma and keep them from leaving the state.
Opponents say it is not fair to single out one industry to solve our education problem. I agree! What happens when production is down? Where will the difference come from? Plus there is one very crucial item missing from this proposal.
Why are we paying so many administrators for so many school districts. The education system in Oklahoma will no improve until we CONSOLIDATE, CONSOLIDATE, CONSOLIDATE!
